# SoundStack

> Curated deal radar for music producers: daily audio plugin sales, free synth presets, and boutique soundware.

SoundStack keeps a short, checked list of VST plugin offers, free Serum / Vital / Diva preset packs, and underground sample packs. Prices are copied from vendor pages. A discount is shown only when the vendor publishes a compare-at price. Unverified numbers are omitted or labeled.

The canonical origin below is the default. If you deploy to another domain, set NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL and update the absolute links in this file.

- Newsletter: POST https://soundstack.vercel.app/api/newsletter with JSON `{"email":"producer@example.com"}`. The address is added to a Resend audience (`RESEND_API_KEY`, `RESEND_AUDIENCE_ID`).
- Free feature request: POST https://soundstack.vercel.app/api/sponsors/feature-request with JSON `{"name":"Tape Stop","url":"https://example.com/tape-stop","email":"maker@example.com","note":"We will share the listing."}`. Emails `OWNER_ALERT_EMAIL` via Resend (`RESEND_FROM`, or `onboarding@resend.dev`). Subject: `New free feature request: <name>`. Leave `ss_hp` empty. Five requests per hour per IP.
- Approve a free feature: POST https://soundstack.vercel.app/api/sponsors/free with `Authorization: Bearer $ADMIN_TOKEN` and JSON `{"name":"Tape Stop","url":"https://example.com/tape-stop","email":"maker@example.com","days":7}`. `days` defaults to 7. Stores the same sponsors blob as a paid checkout with amount 0. The homepage pins it and labels it Featured. A paid amount is labeled Sponsored.
- Sponsorship (paid mode): set `NEXT_PUBLIC_SPONSOR_MODE=paid`. When `NEXT_PUBLIC_STRIPE_FOUNDING_LINK` is an https URL, the header CTA "Feature Your Plugin ($79 founding, reg. $149)" opens it. Otherwise the header falls back to "Feature Your Plugin / Pack ($149)" on `NEXT_PUBLIC_STRIPE_FULL_LINK`. `/advertise` lists both prices and both checkout buttons. `NEXT_PUBLIC_STRIPE_PAYMENT_LINK` is the legacy link and currently points at the founding checkout. In free mode the header CTA is "Get Your Plugin Featured (Free)" and goes to `/advertise`.
- Stripe webhook: POST https://soundstack.vercel.app/api/stripe/webhook. Verifies `STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET`. A paid `checkout.session.completed` stores the sponsor in a private Vercel Blob (`BLOB_STORE_ID` or `BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN`), emails `OWNER_ALERT_EMAIL`, and the homepage pins that listing, labeled Sponsored, for 7 days (`featuredUntil` = paid date + 7, shown while that date is still in the future). The Payment Link needs required custom fields `product_name` and `product_url`. Thank-you page: `/?sponsored=1`.
- Newsletter sponsors: GET https://soundstack.vercel.app/api/sponsors/active with `Authorization: Bearer $ADMIN_TOKEN` returns active sponsors not yet included. POST `{ "ids": ["cs_..."] }` marks them included. Complimentary ids that start with `free_` are accepted too.

## Data

Deals live in `data/deals.json`. A daily job can append an object. Required fields: id, title, vendor, category, url, price, originalPrice, discount, isFree, tags, addedAt, expiresAt, featured, featuredUntil. Optional: currency (USD, EUR, GBP), priceStatus (list, sale, free, omitted), priceNote, image (a path under /deals), imageSource (the vendor URL that file was downloaded from, usually og:image).

Categories are exactly: VST Plugins, Free Synth Presets, Underground Sample Packs.
Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Use null when a price, discount, or expiry is unknown. Do not invent a sale price.
